After painting, each item is fired for durability. But I recommend hand washing. If you will consider careful washing hand painted glasses will be beautiful long time.
I send my items worldwide and don't worry about shipping. I will pack them very carefully in boxes, foam plastic and papers(I send free copy if something is damaged).
